Each piece Wayne creates is a process that involves finding inspiration, finding the right metal scrap parts and then weaving them into a creation that at times takes on a mind of its own.

Over two decades Wayne has been honing his creations in iron, the finishes he has created from many experiments and paint combinations.  Even his time working on scrapping steel in a steel yard taught him just how far you can take a piece of metal until it yields, how it bends, its memory, how heat and cold affect its chemistry.
