How do you go about getting the perfect piece for your space?

You may have visited every furniture store or you just know a certain space needs a custom solution.  It may be a large patio area where a sculptured table would be a great centrepiece.  Or a garden wedding which needed a small feature to really finish off a beautiful scene.  Or its a wall near a pool that needs a lift.

The great news is Wayne Jeffery can assist.

The steps involved

Step 1: select your space, a general theme or a function that you want the piece to perform.

Step 2: Contact Wayne to arrange an in home consultation or a virtual one.

Step 3: Wayne will ask questions to ensure the piece fully meets your criteria.  For instance, if you are by the ocean or in an exposed weather environment, hot dipped galvanising is recommended.  What is the general theme you would like to achieve?  What elements of nature are special to you and do you want this reflected in the artwork?  This is the most critical part of the process, and Wayne can bring years of experience in really understanding what a client is trying to achieve and really delivering that as an outcome.

Step 4: Wayne will produce a sketch drawing, plus any example pieces he has built that shows the technique he would use.

Step 5: Let Wayne create.  Some points to note here:

– As it is an artwork, Wayne can give general timeframes, but specific dates may not be possible, as art needs to be created with inspiration!  If it is a special event such as a wedding or anniversary, then please allow some additional time into the planning.

– Change of scope – it is highly recommended that change of scope of a piece does not happen once it has been commissioned.  If you are not sure, then spend the time to think it through before giving the go ahead.  

Step 6: Install and enjoy.  With a certificate of authenticity for the date it was produced.
